Wallet Recovery

❓ FAQ β€” Wallet Recovery Service

Paste as /faq page on wallet-recovery landing. Audience: crypto holders who lost access. Tone: technical + trustworthy + anti-scam-signaling. Bilingual (EN + ES).

🎯 Essentials

What do you do?

We recover access to cryptocurrency wallets when the owner lost their password or partial seed phrase. We use GPU-accelerated attacks (hashcat + custom rules) on your own hints.

ΒΏQuΓ© hacen exactamente?

Recuperamos el acceso a wallets de criptomonedas cuando el dueΓ±o perdiΓ³ su password o parte del seed. Usamos ataques con GPU basados en las pistas que tengas.

Do you work with seed phrases or just passwords?

What wallets do you support?

πŸ’° Pricing & payment

How much does it cost?

Success fee model: - Typical fee: 20-25% of recovered value. - Minimum: USD 500 per case. - Maximum: often capped at 20% for very large cases (> USD 50k).

You pay nothing if we don't recover.

Is there any upfront payment?

In most cases, no. For cases requiring significant GPU time (> 100 hours expected), we may require a non-refundable retainer of USD 100-300 to cover GPU costs. This is: - Discussed openly during scoping. - Deducted from the final success fee. - Clearly documented in the contract.

Why success fee instead of hourly?

Aligns our incentives with yours. If we can't recover, you lose nothing. We only take cases we believe are viable.

How do I pay?

Payment within 24 hours of password delivery. Full invoice (Argentine Factura E for international) issued.

πŸ”’ Security & trust

Will you have access to my wallet's funds?

No. We never have your wallet file or seed phrase. Here's how:

  1. You run our helper script on YOUR machine.
  2. It extracts only the cryptographic hash (a representation of the password strength, not the password itself or the wallet).
  3. Hash uploaded to our server.
  4. We brute-force the hash.
  5. We deliver the password to you via secure channel.
  6. You open your wallet. You alone have access to your funds.

I'm afraid you'll use my password to steal my crypto

Understandable β€” this is the biggest fear in wallet recovery. Here's why it's mathematically impossible with our setup:

What if I still don't trust you?

Reasonable. Here's what you can do: - Start with a smaller case first if you have multiple wallets. - Ask for references β€” we'll connect you with a past client (with their permission). - Review our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy β€” strong legal commitments. - Check our presence β€” real people, real identities, real invoices, real reviews. - Consult with a lawyer who specializes in crypto before signing anything.

If you still don't trust us, that's OK. Choose another service or walk away. Don't proceed if you have doubts β€” your peace of mind is worth more than the recovery fee.

What happens to my data after the case?

You receive a Certificate of Deletion in both cases.

Do you keep a copy of the recovered password?

No. Once we deliver it to you through the secure channel, we delete it from our systems.

Will you recover a wallet that isn't mine?

Never. We only recover wallets where the requesting person is the original owner.

If you're asking about: - An ex-partner's wallet β†’ No. - A deceased relative's wallet β†’ Only with proper succession documentation (inheritance decree, will). Consult a lawyer first. - Corporate wallets β†’ Only with proper corporate authorization. - A wallet you found or received without a documented transfer β†’ No.

What Proof of Ownership do I need?

Depends on the case. Examples: - Creation records: screenshots showing you created the wallet. - Transaction history matches (partial, from exchanges): showing you sent to the wallet from an account in your name. - Email of wallet creation from the wallet provider. - Historical records (passwords of other accounts, IDs that match).

We work with what you have. We don't require a notarized document in every case, but we do require reasonable proof that you're the legitimate owner.

Can I recover funds that came from illegal activity?

No. We cannot knowingly assist with: - Recovery of wallets holding proceeds of crime. - Sanctions evasion. - Money laundering.

If during our work we discover or strongly suspect illegal activity, we will: - Terminate the case. - Possibly report to relevant authorities (depending on jurisdiction and severity).

We also use basic due diligence checks (transaction history, wallet age, amount patterns) before accepting cases > USD 10k.

In most countries, yes β€” recovering your own wallet is explicitly legal. However, crypto regulation changes. If you're in a jurisdiction with complex crypto laws (US, UK, Germany, South Korea, etc.), consult a local lawyer before starting.

🧩 Process

What's the full process?

  1. Initial contact β€” you write us with basic info.
  2. Free pre-qualification (24-48h): we ask 4 quick questions to assess viability.
  3. NDA signed (free): if viable, both parties sign a Mutual Non-Disclosure Agreement.
  4. Proof of Ownership (free): you submit evidence that you own the wallet.
  5. Scoping (free): we estimate probability, GPU time, fee, and stop criteria.
  6. Contract signed (free): case-specific contract detailing all terms.
  7. Hash extraction (on YOUR machine, free): you run our script, we receive the hash.
  8. Recovery work (our GPUs, at risk): we attack the hash. Updates every 24-48h.
  9. Delivery (if successful): password sent via Signal/PGP.
  10. Payment (within 24h of delivery): success fee settled.
  11. Certificate of Deletion (within 7 days): written proof of data deletion.

How long does a typical case take?

What if you need more GPU time beyond what we agreed?

We'll contact you and propose a choice: - Extend the agreement (and potentially fee). - Accept failure and close. - Provide more hints if possible.

We never extend silently. You're always informed.

❌ When we say NO

We will decline cases where:

When we decline, what happens?

Who else recovers wallets?

There are a few reputable services. We won't disparage them. We also know of many scammers. Key red flags to watch:

If a service hits any of those, walk away.

πŸ•΅οΈ Technical

What technology do you use?

Can AI help recover wallets faster?

Marginally. "AI" is oversold in this field. The real work is: - Interviewing the client to surface hints buried in memory. - Designing the right mask for their specific password style. - Choosing the right rule sets based on the file type and era. - Iterating intelligently as early attacks reveal new info.

The tooling (hashcat) is mature. The skill is in the analysis and strategy.

How fast can you test passwords?

Depends on the wallet type. For reference: - Bitcoin Core wallet.dat: 3-20 thousand passwords/second (slow by design). - Metamask keystore: 1-5 thousand passwords/second. - Electrum 2.x: 10-100 thousand passwords/second (faster).

Because wallet encryption is intentionally slow, the hints matter enormously. A 10-char password from a good personal dictionary is recoverable. A 10-char truly random password is not.

Do you share techniques publicly?

Yes, our Twitter/X and blog share technical insights about wallet recovery. We believe transparency builds trust and educates the community β€” including about scams.

🀝 What to expect working with us

How do we communicate?

We respond within 24 hours, usually faster.

Will I get regular updates?

Yes. Updates every 24-48 hours during active work, detailing: - Which attack phase we're running. - GPU time consumed so far. - Any adjustments needed.

If we go silent for > 48h during active work, something's wrong β€” contact us.

What if the recovery succeeds but the wallet has moved?

Occasionally clients discover, after regaining access, that the wallet was moved or compromised externally before they contacted us. We: - Can still help investigate (separate consulting engagement). - Cannot reverse on-chain transactions (no one can). - Don't charge less β€” our work is the recovery, not the funds at the end.
